Thank you for the follow-up email. I was extremely impressed with the service provided by your company throughout the course of our trip to Costa Rica. All the transportation between locations was on time (usually early) and all the drivers were fantastic. I couldn`t believe that one of your representatives actually called us at our first and last hotels to confirm that we arrived/to confirm our transportation for the following day.
The hotels were all fantastic. We did not book any tours through your website (we did it through the hotels), but in retrospect I wish we had (the tours we took were all great, but it definitely would have been easier to book in advance through your website). I really enjoyed playing around with your website during the planning phase; I loved the myriad of options available and definitely spent way too much time plugging in different combinations of flights, hotels, and destinations (in a good way).
The one disappointment during our trip was that our flight home out of Liberia Airport was cancelled and we had to stay an extra night at the hotel near the airport. This was highly inconvenient as my wife and I had to miss another day of work and she missed her grad school class. I realize this was an American Airlines problem, but it did unfortunately mar what had been up to that point a great trip.
At any rate, we enjoyed our vacation and would not hesitate to use your website again or recommend it to a friend. Thank you.

First of all, we have to tell you that EVERYTHING worked as planned. Even the weather was great! All along our trip and since we are back home, we have only had good comments about the service provided by your website. We strongly recommend it to all our friends if ever they have a trip to plan in the same area. Never have we been so well taken care of. Everything was on schedule, one of you, I guess was calling us every time we had to travel from one place to another to ensure everything was ok etc... All Hotels were fine, breakfast ok.

Everything was great! All transfers were on time, hotels were better than expected; tours were enjoyable, although the hike to the Rio Celeste could have used a better explanation... Please advise travelers to bring strong shoes for a trek through deep mud, and a full change of clothes with shoes, even if not planning to swim lol! I ended up almost head to toe covered in mud (fell a couple of times) and my shoes were soaked for 3 days from trying to wash out the mud. It was worth the trouble and we still enjoyed ourselves!
We spent a lot of time at the Monteverde hotel because my husband became very ill and the doctor was called to the room to treat him. It was probably the best care we ever received! He stayed for hours and made sure he was improving and had medications brought to our hotel by the pharmacy and the doctor and technician were very personable as well. Everyone at the hotel expressed concern for him took good care of me and kept me company while he rested (since there is nothing in walking distance).
I cannot say enough about this trip, even with my husband`s illness and losing our camera while surfing, it was one of the best trips we have ever taken. The people of Costa Rica (including the travel agents that met us and helped us out along the trip) showed us the Pura Vida attitude and made us feel so welcome! So much so, that we began planning a move down there! :)
We have already recommended this website and company to friends and family and will use it again in the near future to either return to Costa Rica or check out Belize.

I have to tell you that I was a bit hesitant to book with you because there were so many details to manage. I was so incredibly surprised at the level of service. My friend and I had an amazing time in Costa Rica!
I don`t regret going to the capital city but my friend and I did not feel comfortable after the sun went down. In hindsight we should have left the city after we landed. The transfer from San Jose to Magic Mountain in La Fortuna was great. Our driver Luis Guzman was very warm and gave us a lot of good information. He stopped to let us go to the bathroom and take a break on our way.
Magic mountain hotel was really nice. They greeted us with cocktails once we had settled into the room. The hotel has an amazing view of the volcano and is in walking distance to the town. The pool was nice and so was the service. We went white water, we did the Toro River. I would recommend that company to anyone, the crew was great, and they made sure everyone was safe and had a good time.
The transfer from Magic Mountain to Montverde was fine. Our driver didn`t speak English and the road was different then most Americans are used to but overall it was fine.
The Trapp Family Lodge had one of the most gorgeous views I have ever seen. The rooms were nice; I liked all the exposed wood. It added to the charm. The restaurant was a bit pricey and I would recommend anyone staying there take a cab into town (which is too far away to walk) and check out the great, more reasonably priced food options there. The transfer from Montverde to Playa flamingo was the least enjoyable. Our driver from the Trapp Family Lodge to the ferry didn`t speak at all and it felt like he was kicking us out when we got there. The boat was not organized well and those people didn`t speak to us either. We had to speak to the operator of another tour company that was also using the ferry. When we got off the ferry the same helpful tour driver had to tell us which van to take because that driver didn`t approach us and just stayed in the van. We never got a chance to go to the restroom and at that point we`d been en route a while. Finally when we hit asfault and transferred to a private van the driver spoke a little English was very helpful and the transfer was better.
The Bahia del Sol hotel was very nice, the room was beautiful, and the service was excellent, but the beach itself isn`t great. It`s Grey sand at the water`s edge and then murky silt once you are in the water. We had to pay $30 for a cab to Tamarindo to find something to do and were also able to check out play conchal which again, we had to use a taxi to go to. The sun setting over little islands at Bahia del Sol was one of the most beautiful I`ve ever seen in my life.
Your local provider was exceptional. The airline lost my luggage and they called for updates every day until I got it. They gave me a precise itinerary and called to remind us what time our transfers were. It was easy to reach a person by phone. They exceeded my expectations.
I fell in love with the country and almost everyone we meet was very warm and inviting. The food was great, the coffee has ruined me to liking any coffee I`ve had since I got home, and even though the hotels and transfers weren`t perfect they were part of the overall experience. I feel like I got a good deal through your company and would (and have) recommend(ed) you to people I know that have asked about the trip.

The vacation was fantastic. The hotels were very good and accommodating. We were quite pleased with your local provider staff as well who greeted us at the airport and helped us find our shuttle. We had an amazing time in Costa Rica - thanks very much for all your assistance. We will definitely be using your website in the future; in fact, this is the third time we`ve used you and we`re already planning another trip.
The one thing I would suggest is that the transfer from Arenal to Monteverde was pretty rough. It took two hours for the van transfer and then sitting on the boat before we even left. Then it was another 45 minutes before we docked. There were no bathrooms available (they were locked) at the docking site and it was supposed to be another 45 minutes by van before we stopped. Unfortunately, the van had a flat tire that took an hour to fix so we were basically without a bathroom for about 4-1/2 hours, which is not cool.
Other than that hiccup, everything went very smoothly. Thanks again!

We had a great time on our trip and would definitely recommend your services to our friends.
The transfers all worked out well, all drivers showed up within 15 minutes of scheduled time, were courteous and took us to the right destination. The transfer from Monteverde to Tamarindo was longer than we expected at about 5 hours, with about a 45 minute detour to drop off some other passengers, but that was the only negative.
We really liked our hotels even though most of them were not the ones we picked. El Establo was especially nice, and was our favorite. Grano de Oro was lovely as we expected, and the Arenal Pardaiso was also very nice. The Tamarindo Diria had a nice location on the beach, but they were doing a lot of construction and renovating. Our room was right next to a lot of the construction work, so it was very loud all day. We also felt it was hard to relax on the beach in Tamarindo due to the number of people selling things who kept bothering us. The pools were nice though, and so were the restaurants with ocean views.
Overall, we had a great trip and were pleased with the value we got from your vacation package.
