Panama destinations:

Panama City - Canal
The city is divided into three main areas: Modern Panama, Old Panama, and Colonial Panama. Modern Panama, is where the financial and commercial districts are located. It offers a breathtaking skyline and an immense infrastructure of hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs. Old Panama, is located two miles from the center of Panama City and contains the ruins of the original Spanish capital. Colonial Panama is the historic center of todays capital.
Playa Blanca
This lovely coastal area of Panama is home to full service resorts, Central America's only beach front golf course, as well as simple beach front cabins, villas and an RV park. Gorgeous million dollar homes dot the coastline- this is preferred location for the vacation homes of Panama's wealthiest families. Getting there is easy - just an hour from Panama City on a modern four lane highway.
Soberania National Park
It is a scene that is repeated over and over, as 14,000 ships traverse the Panama Canal each year. Yet it is somehow always fascinating to see the working of one of mankind's greatest engineering feats: the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Panama Canal. Tourists will find excellent facilities in Panama for observing and learning about the Canal.
Bocas del Toro
Located on the Caribbean Sea, 300 miles northwest off Panama City, the Bocas del Toro archipelago is a snorkeling and diving haven featuring coral reefs, large extensions of mangroves, white sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters. This layback archipelago is also noted for its Georgian architecture, sea turtles, gingerbread, and excellent seafood. A good option for divers and people looking for a different vacation. Average stay is 2 to 3 nights.
Boquete - Chiriqui
The most southwestern province of Panama, located 440 km from Panama City, Chiriqui is an area with a rich bio-diversity. Highlights include La Amistad National Park, jointly managed by Panama and Costa Rica, and the Baru Volcano from where, in a clear day, you can see both oceans. Tourists can benefit from mountain hotels, which offer a wide array of activities. The area might be somehow compared to Monteverde.
San Blas
Comprised of approximately 350 islands and islets, 60 of which are inhabited and 30 coralliferous. The San Blas Island or Mulatas Archipelago is located along the northeastern coast of Panama in the Caribbean Sea. Turquoise waters surround white-sand beaches dotted with palm trees and thatched-roof Kuna villages. Inhabited by the Kuna Indians, they are determined to protect their culture and the environment.
Playa Bonita
Playa Bonita is ideally located on a secluded private beach on the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by rainforest. It features impressive architecture with a fusion of Mediterranean and Panamanian décor that radiates a sense of casual elegance with a delicate cultural flair. It boasts 3 restaurants, 5 swimming pools, tennis facilities, fitness center and Bonita Del Mar, a spa with a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
Contadora Island
Picturesque aqua waters, lush vegetation, fascinating marine life and lovely sparsely populated beaches are found in the Pearl Islands of Panama. First settled by the Spanish in the 16th century, thousands of pearls were found here including the 31 carat, 400 year old Pelegrina pearl owned by Elizabeth Taylor today. The Pearl Islands invite you to experience a place of unsurpassed beauty, relaxation and adventure!
